The Birth

I realize this is the first blog entry on here which is usually the mood setter soooo the pressure is on…I’m not going to lie, it did take a few tries to write this one out (and this is all I’ve came up with, I know lol). It has literally been years since I’ve blogged so I’m no ‘noob’. However since it’s been awhile I am still in

the process of defrosting the creative writing part of my brain so give me a chance to warm up a bit! I was formally addicted to writing on my livejournal back in the early 2000s. Of course most of my post back then were about my teenage angst, but here I am now with a fresh new outlook coming from me, adult Stacey. I’ve grown up a bit more and learned a few more things along the way. I want to keep this short and sweet so let me just break it down for you, I’m an easy-going but highly ambitious dreamer who uses art for self-expression. My main goal in life is to find happiness and self-worth. I can honestly say I spend most of my time watching films, taking photos, and looking up the lastest beauty trends.

Hana. Scrap the extra “n” in between and “h” at the end.  I’m a tiny, bijou size being however I make up for my uncompromising stature with a pretty big personality. I don’t so much believe in horoscopes, but one thing is accurate about the Capricorns – we have unrelenting ambition. Sitting at now twenty-five years old (often mistaken for an eighteen year old), times haven’t changed much since when I first started writing. I still believe in the power of knowledge and the power of expression. As corny as it may sound, blogging acts as the catalyst. I write like many people, as a means of intellectual yet, sometimes juvenile expression. This blog is the luxurious vehicle I drive to reflect my open mindedness. I appreciate and admire all those who do not shy away from a self-made opportunity for creative movement. I get roused and stimulated by the author who writes about life lessons and the journalist who informs me about what’s happening somewhere else in the world. I am fascinated by the woman on the street who wears a thrifty grandma sweater from VV with a pair of LV flats.  I gravitate toward the music I hear on a local radio station but more so in an underground bar or even in a suburban garage. Many things intrigue me – I think being exposed to different things and thus having an open mind is the modus operandi  (the “m.o.”) to uphold and being versatile is a forte in which to aspire. There are so many creatively wonderful things to appreciate whether it come in the many art forms such as poetry, photography, style/fashion and the like.

I write about many things in order to intrigue, to question, to create, to recognize, to learn and most importantly to share. I’m no professional. But just like my partner up there mentioned, give us time to defrost the creative writing part of our brains.

I have no doubt that you’ll be impressed for what’s to come next.
