A clean slate

Working from home has it perks, especially when it comes to those days when no makeup is necessary. It’s great having those few days a week when I can just let my skin breathe; but even on those kind of days it’s still nice to pamper your skin. I know I’ve said it a billion times before but my skin really has been having a difficult time with this unpredictable weather. Having found products to help me combat the horrible acne storm has made me very thankful.

Arbonne Detox Sea Mud Face & Body Mask – Whenever my skin needs extra attention I use this once or twice a week on my entire body and face – hence the name. It’s been doing a world of a difference since the ingredients include bentonite clay and sea mud which are healing and help to draw out impurities and toxins from the body. If you want the spa experience at home then you need to get this pronto.

Dermalogica Oil Clearing Matte Moisturizer – This has quickly become my favourite daytime moisturizer since it hydrates while keeping my face matte and away from looking greasy. It’s formulated with gentle botanicals such as birch, willow bark, and mildly smells like sweet licorice. Although I’m not a fan of licorice anything I do admit the smell is refreshing on the skin. I absolutely love the fact that it absorbs fast even with the SPF 15 on hand. I don’t know if I’m imaging things, but I swear my blemishes have fled ever since using this as well.

CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM – Shocker or not, this is the first time ever in my adulthood that I finally went out and got myself a night time moisturizer. I honestly thought they were all the same, but my mind has been blown away since I added this into my nightly routine. I did my research before deciding on this purchase since I wanted one that best suited my acne prone skin’s needs and so far so very good. I now wake up with a oil-controlled face which had been quite a change.

What skincare products do you use on your au naturale days?

Me encantan las opciones, de verdad que de vez en cuando dan ganas de relajarse y hacerse estas cosas, yo esto usando una especie de mud mask que me va bastante bien y me relaja mucho 🙂

I never heard of CeraVe until I was looking for moisturizers that are great for acne prone skin. It works so good and doesn’t clog pores. Thanks for the lovely comments Shannon <3
