Instead of my usual “Things To Do” I wanted to change things up for a bit. I believe there are already thousands of great to-do list in many travel books and online for this amazing city that what I say will only be repetitive. So it’s no secret Barcelona is one very special city, in fact it’s one that any wanderluster should consider to cross off on their bucket list. I know this can come off as snooty but I’m a huge credit when I travel to new places since I’m not that fond of getting down and dirty with all the tourist attractions. Knowing that Barcelona is an extremely touristy city I had an idea of what I was getting into – or so I thought.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing bad with wanting to see all the famous monuments that make any city what is it. However my ideas of what I yearn to see and experience are the things we often take for granted or don’t bother to take a second glance at. It’s no question that Antoni Gaudí’s works of art are the best seen and spread all over the city, but I want to address the simpler things that also make Barcelona very stimulating to the eyes. Perhaps I’m going too deep into this but as someone who likes to find the the richness in every moment I’m always out to find magic and happiness in the small stuff.

A lot of us move at a fast pace whether we notice it or not and forget to just stop and enjoy the very moment we’re in. Even on vacation some of the over-thinkers have trouble letting go at times. As weird as it may sound, even in a city as busy and loud as Barcelona it was easy to let go of whatever was on my mind and feel like I can breathe clear. Not only did I fall in love with Barcelona (and it’s heat) but I’ve developed a passion and taste for life again. There have only been a few cities that have moved me in ways I didn’t think possible and Barcelona was definitely one that refreshed my palette.

Where was the last place you traveled to, and how did it influence you?

If you’d like to see more photos that I didn’t include here, go check out and add me on instagram @bambivstheworld as well!

To be honest I think my city is more culturally diverse but the lifestyle of Barcelona is a lot stronger. Aside from that Barcelona is wayyy more beautiful but generally this is how Europe is hehe
Enjoy your travels girl and stay safe! <3
