Colour Poppin'

If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m addicted to Instagram as of most people nowadays. I encountered so much hype around this brand so I had to check them out, and since I’ve recently been trying to grow my cream eyeshadow collection I thought ColourPop Super Shock Shadows would be a good start.

Although ColourPop are well known for their metallics and funkier colours, I of course went with their neutrals. With my makeup selection these days I’d rather just buy products and colours I know I’m going to get the most use out of (it’s the responsible adult in me hah). I also didn’t want to get too much at once so I picked up just 3 of their shadows. I’m not going to go too in-depth with each colour, but I will say they all are extremely buttery, very pigmented, easy to blend, and seriously beautiful – not to mention, I adore the simple packaging. I have a lot of love for these already!

Play (yellow peach matte finish) | Smash (neutral medium warm beige with a soft golden satin finish) | Desert (warm saddle brown with a taupe finish)

I have to admit I wasn’t too impressed with the company at first since I received my package almost a month and a half later. The customer service was slow in responding when I tracked my package to discover that it took a detour of no return through Brazil. They did however send out a new shipment to me. I’m sure this doesn’t happen all that often so I will most likely continue to purchase from them. I love these shadows since both the quality and price are on very point. I’m super curious to try out their Lippie Stix and Super Shock Cheek products next so we’ll see when that happens.

They look really nice, but I have such sensitive skin I don’t know if its worth the risk. I’ve been using Younique’s mineral pigments lately and I love ’em 🙂 I’m actually wearing make-up again its awesome ^_^

    • It’s always best to stick to what you know will not irritate your skin! I don’t know what their return policy is either, but glad you can wear makeup again!
