Since my last current favourites was in May I thought it was time for an update. Since the spring time I’ve tried some new and also rediscovered some old goodies of mine. A mixture of old and new is always nice to add into a favourites collection wouldn’t you say? It takes a lot for me to love a product and once I do I’m pretty much loyal to it forever and ever. Here’s what I’ve been currently loving.
Beauty Origin Lab Sandalwood Face Exfoliant
This is by far the best facial exfoliant I have ever tried. It’s extremely effective at removing dead skin cells yet so gentle that it won’t irritate your face. It has very fine textured natural micro beads that help to exfoliant your skin and clear out pores. It also includes aloe vera which reduces any inflammation and helps to keep your skin feeling hydrated. I’ve been using this once a week and have noticed that it has also helped with reducing the appearance of my old acne scars.
Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel | Pure Paradise
Okay so this isn’t exactly beauty related but how freaking cute is this?? I don’t know if this is the new packaging for their hand sanitizers but I absolutely adore it since it’s not an awkward shape as their original ones were. It’s also very convenient to carry around in your purse, pocket, and is still very travel friendly.
ColourPop Super Shock Shadows | Nillionaire & Birthday Girl
I’m sure you’ve been seeing ColourPop everywhere but that’s because they really are worth the hype especially when it comes to their eyeshadows. They released a wide range of new makeup for their summer collection, but it was their Nillionaire eyeshadow that really stood out to me. It’s a beautiful warm bronzed gold metallic shade that is very buildible depending on the intensity you want. Recently ColourPop also celebrated their one year anniversary by releasing a limited audition eyeshadow called Birthday Girl. This is my favourite of all their shadows so it’s a shame it was limited edition. It’s such a pretty light gold with bronze glitter that’s perfect for both a day and night time looks.
Victoria Secret Fragrance Mist | Coconut Passion
I’m not sure what it is but in summer I love a good body mist instead of a perfumes. I’ve especially been really digging this vanilla and coconut mist. A little bit goes a long way since all you need is one spritz to cover your wrist and behind the ears (where your pulse is). I love how it’s a statement smell without being overpowering or obnoxious like other scents can be. And let’s face it, vanilla and coconut go hand in hand perfectly!
NYX Butter Gloss | Peaches and Cream
I’ve been in a pinky lips mood lately which is a colour I don’t normally wear on the daily, but since the weather has warmed up it just seems like the perfect colour for summer. I’ve been particularly drawn to this shade since it isn’t exactly a true pink since it’s still in the pinky-coral family. It’s also comfortable and super moisturizing so I’ve been wearing this almost everyday.
NARS Lip Gloss | Super Orgasm
Not a fan of the name but definitely loving the colour. It has the ever so lightest tint of pink with reflect of gold which looks amazing on top of a lipstick or on it’s own. Nars glosses are not cheap but if you want a high-quality lip gloss that is very comfortable and non-sticky on the lips I would say these are great investments.
