Fashion Forward

Although we may not always admit it, we do find a lot of our fashion inspirations from actors/actresses, designers, and other personalities that we’re exposed to everyday on screens and social media. The thing about celebrities is that they always looks stylish, put-together, and most important, camera ready – of course, all thanks to their stylist. However, you don’t need a stylist to look your best! Whether you want to dress like chic Victoria Beckham or cool Kylie Jenner, it’s much easier to achieve their look than you would think.

As important as it is to feel good on the inside, I believe it’s also important to feel good on the outside as well. It might sound weird, but when I look good I feel confident enough to get more done to achieving what I want in life. Take the musicians, movie stars and models listed on Justrichest.com, they all know how to dress to impress and have all got far in life. Surely, there’s a connection between dressing well and doing well? At least, it seems that way, anyhow.

There are some tips on how you can level up your style.

Statement accessories
To give any look that celebrity style, statement accessories are crucial. Of course, you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree, it’s essential that you don’t go overboard. One or two accessories are all it takes to make a statement. Look at the outfits style icon Victoria Beckham wears (if you haven’t noticed I love Victoria Beckham), and you’ll notice that she keeps it simple and adds a couple of key accessories to each look. This is so that she can make a statement. These are always well thought out pieces that add that little something to her look.

Monochrome always works
I’ve grown to love a monochrome look, since it is so easy to pull off while looking super chic. A monochrome look is smart, stylish and flattering, regardless of the occasion. There’s something about opting for a single-hued look that offers the most flattering sense of style. When in doubt, opt for a black outfit from head to toe. How about giving that LBD (Little Black Dress) a bit of attention again!

Add a pop of color
Add a bright coat to your outfit and heads will turn – it instantly ups your outfits anti. Ask any fashion lover and they’ll tell you the easiest way to stand out is by adding a pop of color to your look. Celebrities and their stylists know what they’re talking about, as standing out is a necessity for them. Especially, when on the red carpet. Whether your stand out piece is a coat, pair of shoes or a bag, make sure it’s beautifully bright and bold if you want to make your mark. If you opt for a coat, check out Realsimple.com first, for all the best advice.

Being fashion forward isn’t difficult, it’s just a case of taking advice from your favorite fashion icons.

I’m a pretty colourful person when it comes to my outfits but recently I’ve been into much more muted tones so adding pops of colour somewhere really make the look less boring 🙂
