I always believed that it’s not necessary to spend a lot just to look good. Especially now with the massive improvement of drugstore products throughout the last few years, it’s almost guaranteed that you’re bound to find the best essentials on any budget. Lucky enough I’ve found some of my favourites from the very affordable Essence Cosmetics line.
When it comes to the eyes, less is always more in my opinion. I like to keep things pretty neutral on a daily basis, but instead of grabbing for eyeshadows when I crave a pop of colour I’ve been gravitating towards eyeliners. The Long Lasting Eye Pencils I picked up are almost perfect for an everyday look without being over the top. I find they also help my brown eyes stand out just a bit more than usual. I’ve also been a fan of their Lash Princess Volume Mascara, which I only wished came in a waterproof formula.
If I could save only one item of makeup the answer is always going to be for eyebrows! Although the packaging for the Eyebrow Stylist Set is wonky and cheap, the product itself works like a charm. Besides the fact that it lasts all day, I love how easy it is to control the product and not have to worry about it distributing unevenly. To really finish off the overall look, Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel is a wonderful sidekick to use since its tiny fibers help add volume and shape to your brows.
Although it’s labeled as a Liquid Lipstick it’s quite far from being one – however I’m not mad about it. I consider these to be highly pigmented lipglosses that also leaves a bit of a stain after a few hours of wear. These are amazing on top of other similar lip colours, but definitely look just as great on their own. Out of all their lip products that I’ve tried these ones are my favourite and I would recommend them to anyone.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! xo.
