Just like everything else on our bodies, our hair is another important part we should be taking care of. At least for my hair it is usually a battle to find the right products that will keep my hair happy and under control, but I’ve found a routine for now that has been giving me great results.
Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner
I believe in switching up your shampoos and conditioners every once in awhile just so that your hair doesn’t rely on one product then stops working it’s magic. I’m always in and out with new shampoos but always seem to come back to this wonderful duo. This is by far the best drugstore brand I’ve tried on my naturally dry and curly course hair. After using hotel shampoos and samples on my last trip the OGX Coconut Milk duo restored my hair to a manageable state by giving back a lot of moisture and shine.
Joico Color Balance Blue Conditioner
Every time I have a shampoo and conditioner set I always seem to be left with a lot of the conditioner left. In this case I don’t mind at all since this is another great product that has helped with the moisture in my hair. Every few washes I will use this one as a deep hair treatment; I as well normally putting a little bit of the conditioner after I shower on my damp hair as a leave in treatment.
Tangle Teezer Compact
This is a pretty new addition that came into my life and has made it hell of a lot easier when brushing out my hair. I was hoping that this would save me a lot of time and pain into brushing my long hair and it really has lived up to it’s claims. It detangles my hair much faster than with any other brush I’ve used before and is completely pain free.
Natural Boar Bristle Round Brush
Sometimes a good blowdry is all you need instead of using a flat iron or curling iron. Although they can be time consuming I love the way a blowdry looks a lot more since it still has better body, control, and looks amazing even days after. I’ve had this brush for as long as I could remember and it still works like a charm. Even though ceramic brushes add extra bounce to the hair I still prefer natural brushes which are a little less damaging to the hair and gives the polished look that I like for everyday.
