Into the fall

This year really has been flying by – wouldn’t you agree? Although I love the summer – it’s coming to a close, and I cannot wait for the more comfortable temperatures of fall. In my opinion, it’s the season with the best fashion and beauty. It’s that time when you don’t have to worry about frizzy hair anymore, and you can mix long sleeves and tailored shorts without getting overly heated or chilly.

If you don’t know by now, I’m always fond of the look of turning masculine clothing pieces into something more feminine. I guess being a bit of a tomboy and with male influences growing up can do that to a girl? And with the whole ‘athletic chic’ trend happening – it’s fun to pull out the sports bras, baseball caps, and jersey shirts again! Personally I don’t believe in following trends to the t. Swapping out the sneakers for a pair of combat boots seems like I better idea if I do say so myself!

It may be odd to say, but I feel the most confident, happy, and like myself in the autumn. Do you have a season where you feel this way? For me it’s the happy medium between summer and winter where you can still go out, have fun, and not be entirely exhausted or tired from the heat. Besides the fashion, we can’t forget all the yummy beverages that come our way <3

Wearing: Adidas Orginials Men’s Climalite Long Sleeve Shirt (similar), Reef Swellular Boot HI (here).

I totally agree that autumn is the most comfortable and generally the best time of year for fashion. Sometimes in summer I feel like I’m melting, hahah. Love these photos & your outfit! I like the ‘athletic chic’ trend, although I rarely dress that way myself.

I don’t usually dress that way either but it’s nice to switch things up from your normal style – it brings out a new perspective on things!

Your outfit is amazing, I also like the athletic chic trend and I agree, following trends to the t is unnecessary, I prefer the combination you went for. Autumn is definitely my favourite season and also the season where I feel most like myself – summer is too hot for me anyway xx

I think the beginning of summer is always the most exciting but once it’s midway and too hot that’s when things get uncomfortable hahha

I am the same as you, I am most comfortable in Autumn and of course, Spring too. Winter is too cold and Summer is way too hot for me.

  12. […] walkable heel, but the Chelsea boot is a great casual look option as well. Once you’ve found the perfect ankle boots – a pair of sneakers, combat boots, and some pointed flats are other great fall shoe […]

  13. WOW! You’re absolutely gorgeous and stunning. I love your outfit!
