Heat waves and humidity don’t seem to be much of an issue at least here on the east coast, so for the most part it’s been a pretty easy going summer. If you haven’t noticed by now my summer style is pretty casual since I don’t like to wear too many layers at this time of year – if where you live doesn’t get as much sun throughout the year you’d understand where I’m coming from!
On an everyday basis I’ve pretty much lived most of my summer days in rompers (a.k.a. playsuits). They are the easiest clothing item to throw on, style, and still look put together. Most the the rompers I own can quickly go from day to night in a matter of just changing up accessories, jewelry, and shoes. This has definitely been my staple piece throughout the summer.
Aside from the rompers, on most days I’ve still only really been using clutches to carry around everything I need. I’m usually a light packer when it comes to traveling but when it comes down to my purse it’s usually a different story. However using the clutch more often has taught me a lot on how to pack lightly for the day. Do I really need to be carrying around receipts from 3 years ago, movie stubs, and wrappers throughout the day? Probably not.
