Recently I’ve gathered up all the nudes in my nail polish collection and have had them on a rotation. I love the simplicity and sophistication of a nude nail. Not only do these natural hues go with just about everything in your wardrobe, but they elongate the appearance of your fingers (just as you would wear nude heals to elongate the look of your legs), and best of all – they bring out a brighter complexion in your skin tone.
OPI – Going My Way Or Norway?
I never thought I’d find the perfect darker nude until I met this one – and I’ve been getting major wear out of it too. [purchase].
China Glaze – Nude
This is the lightest shade of all my nudes – and the most loved as well. I’ve worn this so often that it’s almost at its last few drops. [purchase].
OPI – Sand In My Suit
This adds more pizzazz to your regular nude nail since it has a pearl finish. It’s really nice when you want to dress things up. [purchase].
Kit – Nude Jude
I’ve been digging the pink-beige undertones on this one. In my opinion, this one’s the perfect nude. [purchase only at Rexall stores].
Urban Outfitters – Tusk
Though the swatch comes off more dark, it’s actually much lighter and with soft pink undertones. I love it since it’s quite girly. [purchase].
L’Oréal – Mauvelous
This is not your traditional nude since it’s more on the brown-red side, which is perfect for people such as myself who have red undertones in their skin. [purchase].
