Review| Sibu Beauty

I’ve seen and read reviews on Sibu Beauty in the past so when they contacted me to review a few of their skincare products I was super excited for a chance to try them out! Sibu Beauty offers health & beauty products that are environmentally conscious – from their recycled plastics to their fair trade harvesting practices in Tibet. Besides that, they are also GMO free, cruelty free, vegan friendly, and made in the USA. All of their products include Himalayan sea buckthorn berries which comes from Eurasian shrubs that are elusive to tons of bioactive compounds such as very beneficial omega-7 fatty acids.

So onto the skincare. I received the 3 step core system to help relieve symptoms of rosacea, eczema, and acne. I’ve been using their products for almost 4 weeks now so I had a really good amount of time to try everything out and see what it could really do for my complexion.

Sea Buckthorn Cleansing Face and Body Bar
I haven’t used a cleansing bar in a very long time and the last time that I did I wasn’t too impressed, so I was a bit skeptical about this one at first. But after using this for awhile now I have become a fan since it does what it says it will do which is to cleanse, detoxify, and moisturize. The bar contains small traces of gluten-free oatmeal which is there to help calm inflammation while the sea buckthorn oils nourish and heal the skin. Although this can also be used for the body I’ve only really been using it for my face in the morning and night. Every wash has always been gentle and has always left my skin feeling lightly moisturized. It’s good to also mention that this is suitable for all skin types and is 100% natural.

Sea Buckthorn Nourishing Facial Cream
This stuff is simply amazing. It seems like all of the Sibu Beauty products are suitable for all skin types but this one especially is amazing for oily skin. Since this is an ultra light moisturizer it won’t make your face feeling greasy quickly afterwards. I love how it’s also all natural, and how fast it absorbs and dries into my skin so I never have to wait around before I apply any makeup. Aside from sea buckthorn it also includes shea butter and aloe which help to rejuvenate sun damaged skin, protect against environmental stress, and helps to keep you skin looking and feeling healthy. A huge plus is that it also helps to boost collagen production; I have the results to prove it since I’ve noticed my skin looking plumper and a lot more youthful these days.

Sibu Beauty Seed Oil
Now this is what really sold me on Sibu Beauty. I believe this is seriously life changing and needed in every skincare routine. This all natural therapeutic oil has so many beneficial purposes for the skin. First off it helps eliminate blemishes. So at night I apply this on the areas that I’m prone to getting spots or acne. I’ve also noticed a great improvement on my old acne scaring. They have been starting to become less noticeable which gets me pretty happy! They also mention that their certified organic seed oil is also great as a first-aid so this can be applied to cuts, scrapes, minor burns, and any damaged skin areas for accelerated healing.

So far I’ve been having a great experience with Sibu Beauty and I definitely see myself repurchasing from them in the near future.

I’m very new to sea buckthorn so I’m curious if any of you have ever tried it before. Let me know your thoughts if you have!

This stuff sounds amazing— never heard of the brand before, but I’ll definitely have to look into them! (as long as I can find something that fits my budget, or if I decide to splurge a tiny bit haha!)
    Lovely post, thank you!

En España es muy difícil conseguir esta marca, menos mal que tenemos webs como iherb o Vitacost que si que envían aquí. En mi próximo pedido meteré algo de Sibu, tengo muchas ganas de probar esta marca!
    Beso! 🙂

  6. […] Beauty Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil I reviewed this awhile ago [that you can read here] and this has been more than amazing to my skin. I’m not sure how it battles with cystic acne […]
