They say you can tell a lot about someone by what shoes they’re wearing – but I also believe you can tell a lot about someone by their choice of fragrance. Whether you’re a man or a woman the way you smell can be a huge deal breaker. It’s a known fact that we are all attracted to certain scents, so once we do find the scent that fits in well with our overall persona it is our holy grail for periods of time.
I’ve always been attracted to very feminine floral scents so Chloe Eau de Parfum is my number one favourite when it comes to that. I loved Chloe so much that I always kept a full size bottle at home, had a backup, and a small one to carry around in my bag wherever I go. I got the most compliments and people always asking me what purfume I was wearing every time I wore her. I had a 5 year run with Chloe before I decided to venture off and try something new.
I heard many great things about Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and so I decided to explore outside my comfort zone and try this one out. The scent in general is very flirty and awakening so every time I wore this I felt very confident (you bet this was my date night fragrance choice!). Though I like Viva La Juicy – in my option it can get a bit too much for everyday wear, so I decided it was time for a switch-up again.
I went back to where I started with the florals, and so last year I met Elizabeth and James Nirvana White. It has been my everyday go-to since it’s a light scent yet it lingers on my skin and hair all day. I loved it so much that when I had the chance to pick-up Nirvana Black using my Sephora Reward Points I had to grab it. When these two are mixed together it creates such an amazing scent that is perfect for a night out. On my skin the mixtures comes off as a feminine yet seductive musky womanly scent which makes it a very unique scent in my books.
