Being that February is still the month of love and cold weather, this subscription box sent over from GLOSSYBOX is never too late to have! I haven’t tried out any subscription boxes in awhile so I was excited – plus the fact that I get to test out products that I may or may have not tried out before in generous sample sizes to full-sizes is a major bonus as well!
BioRepublic Skincare Sheet Mask – You know you can always trust a skincare product when it’s made in Korea since they are the powerhouse to perfect skin. I love anything that says aloe vera and vitamin E on it so I played around with this one the moment I got it. Although I didn’t like the fact that the mask had a fragrance to it, it still was very refreshing to have on and it left me with a nice non-oily looking glow to my skin throughout the day.
Etre Belle Cosmetics Golden Skin Roll-On Caviar Eye Gel – This is probably one of the best roll-ons I’ve tried. Since it has very discrete shimmers of gold it helps to brighten up the eye area to give the appearance of more awaken and rested eyes. Like all other roll-on eye gels, this one has a great cooling sensation which is a perfect pick-me-up in the morning.
Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional Face Primer – For a long time now I always wanted to try this out since I’ve heard a lot of great reviews. It’s known to be a wonderful primer and pore minimizer, but I had no idea that it could look so good all on it’s own! You get an instant blurring effect when applied onto the t-zone and cheeks. I’ve found that not only does it look good in photos but just as good in person as well.
Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick In Heat Wave Ruby – Just like the name says, it’s a pretty true ruby colour that has deep tones of red and berry to it. I find this to be one of the most versatile and wearable reds that can go with any day or night look. Although it claims to be a matte finish I consider it more of a satin-matte which is still gorgeous and comfortable on the lips regardless.
GlamGlow ThirstyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser – GlamGlow is another brand that gets a lot of rave about that I happen to never tried out until now. Even though I have oily skin I wanted to give this one a go anyways, and right off the bat it’s very clear that it’s made for drier to combination skin types. The consistency is creamy and almost silky that it really hydrates the skin well. I’m sad to be passing this one on to someone else since the scent is a total reminisce of summer and the beach!
