Smile ready

When it comes to hygiene, taking care of our mouth should be a high priority on the list – because as cheesy as it may sound – along with a healthy mouth comes a beautiful smile. I’ve talked about teeth whitening before and have mentioned before that oil pulling is my most preferred method. Not only is it the most affordable, but it’s also the most healthy and natural way of taking care of your teeth.

If you’re new to the world of oil pulling, it is an ancient Ayurvedic dental practice, also known as “gundusha”. It involves swishing around a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth to draw out the toxins while detoxifying your body. Oil pulling is its most effective when done 10-20 minutes in the morning before you officially start your day. It may seem like a long time, but if you have time to check your Instagram and Facebook when you wake up, you have time to oil pull!

I was sent the Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse which covers 14 days of oil pulling. I know the thought of putting oil into your mouth doesn’t seem appealing – however the Coco Rinse kit makes it a refreshing experience since it’s a blend of organic mint flavoured coconut oil.  Aside from whiter teeth and fresher breath, some other benefits towards oil pulling include healthier gums, reduced headaches , better immune system , balanced hormones, clearer skin and also improves skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. I love having a brighter smile with all the added health benefits.

Have you ever tried oil pulling before?

Oye pues no había escuchado de este producto, pero voy a echarle un ojo porque me interesa el tema de la sonrisa white jaja! Eso sí, el aceite de coco si sabía que tenía un montón de beneficios, se puede usar para mil y un cosas!
