Awhile back I did a preview of the upcoming Spring 2015 Luxe Box, and so it has finally arrived at my door! I’ve tried a beauty subscription before but never like this one so I was very curious to see what comes inside. I’m all about presentation so I already loved the box and the cute drawstring bag which carried the items in. Here’s what I received:
Geum Sul 24K Gold Collagen Caviar Cotton Face Mask
I truly believe Korean skincare is the future if it isn’t already to a lot of people. It’s so easy to find extremely effective yet affordable Korean products, and a lot of it is very innovative – take this one for example. How fancy could a mask get?
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Exfoliant
I’m a big fan of Paula’s Choice products and I actually have the gel form of this one so I was excited to get a travel size for whenever I’m on my way to a new place. It had helped a lot with evening my skin tone and unclogging my pores especially on and around my nose.
Luxe Box Double-Sided Brush
So now that I’ve seen and touched this brush in person I admit I like it a lot more than I thought I would. I already have a bunch of loved foundation brushes but this one’s wider than others I own so I liked the faster foundation application. I was way more excited about trying the other end since I’ve never in my life tried a beauty blender (hey, I could be wrong about this but this is what I imagine one would be like to use). I damped it just a bit in water and applied my foundation and I was in love already. This is possibly my favourite brush for applying my base now.
Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer / Pink Petal
This colour seriously came just in time since I’ve been obsessing over light pink nail polishes recently. The colour is very soft and girly which practically screams Spring on it’s own. I already know I will be rocking this all season.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
Finding the right dry shampoo is tricky and I’m quite picky when it comes to choosing. This was honestly my least favourite item in my Luxe Box. The smell was way too strong and chemically for my liking. Like I said, I’m pretty picking when it comes to these especially with anything I put on my hair. This one just wasn’t for me.
Eyeko Brow Gel
I was really waiting for this one of all the products in the Luxe Box since I have an undying love for eyebrow products. At first when I opened it up I was a bit disappointed because it looked darker than what I would normally go for. But the label said it’s suitable for all eyebrows so I gave it a go anyways and boy was I wrong. It tinted my brows just the way I like them to be tinted, they also helped keep them in tack – plus the brush is just so darn cute.
I also received a sample of the Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundations, which I will try out in the later future.
