Stocking stuffers

Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner?! Perhaps you’re finished with all your shopping or are still needing to get in those last minute items – since most of the best gifts I’ve given or received came in small packages, stocking stuffers are my favourite part of holiday shopping. Not only are they very customizable, but you can never break your budget with them.

Keeping moisturized throughout the winter
Winter temperatures can do just the same amount of damage as the sun can do in the summertime. Some of the most useful and appreciated stocking stuffers would be body butters, hand creams, lip balms and treatments. If you’re feeling festive, Arbonne has a wonderful Holiday Collection which includes Shea Butter Apricot Vanilla Hand Lotion and Shea Butter Moisturizing Lip Balm, which are my perfect picks for the season.

Wakeup-makeup, for the makeup lovers
We all know that makeup can be pricey, and when palettes or prepackaged holiday gift sets aren’t in your budget, it seems like shopping for your makeup lovers are almost impossible. I personally love receiving drugstore finds of my friend’s favourite products and what their recommendations are. Since lip products practically stole the show this year, the Milani Colour Statement Lipsticks are my go-tos for gift giving. If you really want to spoil someone and give them the trendiest gift there is, I suggest a Lip Kit or Lip Single from Kylie Cosmetics would be any makeup lovers dream to have. I know that these are two major leaps when it comes to price points – so if you’re looking for something in the middle, I say a makeup bag would be another great option. Pamela Barsky Makeup Bags are the best and most hilarious ones out there.

A scent for someone special
I know that fragrance gift giving can be a personal thing for some people, but I also believe when you truly know someone and their style this can be an amazing gift to give to them. Even if you give your special someone a mini or travel size version of their favourite perfume or cologne it would be a wonderful and though out gift.  My personal favourite at the moment is Yves Saint Laurent’s Black Opium. I can receive countless amounts of these in travel size and be happy!

The one that will never let you down – nail polish
There is always an uncertainty when it comes to giving beauty products as gifts sometimes. But I believe that when all else fails, nail polish is the way to go. Everyone wants it and needs it at some point in their life – it is just one of those things that are apart of our grooming routine whether we think it is or not. To make these gifts even a bit more luxurious, Butter London polishes are some of the best ones to stocking stuff.

I’d love to know your suggestions for other great stocking stuffers!

  1. first of all– these photos are so vivid, you captured the presies so well! second, I am really loving that sloganeer canvass makeup bag– it is uber cute. 3rd, honestly, just going to the stocking stuffer corner in Sephora (ok fine, the minis) you will find tons of highness stuff around the 10-20 dollar range which I find excellent, (in my opinion) for cheap, mini, beauty related gifts. lovely post! xx
