Summer Days in Montreal

On my short visit to Montreal I had a chance to experience their amazing [almost] summer weather. I remember one day almost hitting 40°C and so my makeup was pretty much melting off my face as you could imagine; so with the rest of the days there I learned it was better to just not wear any (haha). I also kept cool with very lightweight clothing and simple accessories.

I use to avoid crop tops but then realized how easy they were to dress up. Since the stomach region isn’t my favourite part on my body I find high-waisted skirts and shorts do the trick. This tank is also incredibly lightweight so it was perfect for the super hot days – I also love the Mean Girls movie reference!

Floral is always an in and out trend so if you want to add more florals to your closet I say go vintage. Depending on where you go shopping you can spend more or less but still get great quality that will last you forever.

This look would not be complete without a clutch. And since I’ve been on a clutch craze I have been obsessing over this one in particular ever since it was passed on to me. It is small but it still holds everything I need in a day.

Wearing: Brandy Melville Crop Tank Top [similar], Vintage Floral Skirt [alternative], Aldo Pointed Toe Flats, Moschino Round Clutch [similar], Urban Outfitters Fedora Hat [alternative], A.J. Morgan Sunnies.
