The art of oils

There are many wonderful benefits with using oils on our skin. In fact many, if not most, of the beauty products we use daily include different types of oils that help to moisturize, protect, and add a glow to our skin. As someone who wears makeup almost everyday – taking care of my skin is the most important thing! Adding in Eden’s Semilla oils into my day and night skincare routines has been making a world of a difference.

Organic Jojoba Oil
Since winter temperatures have pretty much arrived – jojoba oil has been by far my favourite way to moisturize in the morning. I know this can be scary to not only oily skin types, but rather than making your face more oily, I’ve notice that my skin has been more balanced and not overproducing oil like it usually does. Overall, jojoba oil is very unique and perfect for all skin types. It very much resembles and mimics skin’s natural sebum – making it the perfect conditioner for both our hair and skin. Jojoba oil also naturally contains vitamin C, which helps to make skin look radiant and soft to the touch. What more can you ask for?

Organic Vitamin E Oil With Rosehip Oil
Our skin is the most active when it comes to repairing itself when we’re resting at night, so Eden’s Semilla’s Vitamin E Oil with Rosehip blend has been taking over my nightly skincare routine. Vitamin E oil is a natural antioxidant which helps to protect and repair the skin, hair, and scalp. I just can’t recommend anything better than this lightweight oil for oily or acne prone skin. I’ve been using this oil for a little over 3 weeks now and it has helped to even out my skin tone, fade out old acne scares, as well as liven up my sometimes tired looking complexion. I also like applying this to the ends of my hair for added moisture and shine.

Tip : Since oils are extremely versatile, mixing a few drops into your favourite skincare and beauty products such as your moisturizers, foundations, lip and hair treatments, will seal things in and add an extra boost.

Have you ever tried using oils in your beauty routine?
